Monday april 14

With the ship bouncing back and forth overnight we nevertheless had a decent night's sleep. All day today the ship has been moving quite a bit making walking in a straight line a bit of a challenge!

Our program this morning was another very interesting cooking demonstration. Our chief chef, quite a funny fellow, made a beautiful salmon steak dish.

After a light lunch of cheese and fruit we went to the main stage to hear a presentation about Havre, France, our port in a few days.

After the program Sam went to an English tea while I went to the fitness center and spent 30 minutes on their very cool exercise bike. Then I did a lap around the third deck promenade just for the challenge of it. Walking in gale force sea spray was invigorating.

Our evening program was the young Irish gal singing classic songs.....very good! Then a set in the bar by the double pianos.

The ship is still rolling tonight! We will arrive at Falmouth tomorrow night.
